- The Applied MA provides an opportunity for international students to study in the United States and earn a degree in less than one year.
- The program is STEM-accredited, meaning international students are eligible for up to three years of Optional Practical Training following graduation.
- For international students interested in pursuing a PhD in Economics, the Applied MA can provide a helpful transition to become accustomed to graduate study in the US, complete necessary prerequisites for PhD programs, and better define areas of interest within Economics before applying to PhD programs.
