Paper by members of the UIC Econ Department cited in 2022 Economic Report of the President
Research by Professor Javaeria Qureshi and PhD alumnus Anuj Gangopadhyaya was cited in the 2022 Economic Report of the President by the White House Council of Economic Advisers. Their paper, entitled "Childhood Medicaid Eligibility and Human Capital," finds that expanded Medicaid eligibility reduces the probability of children being below grade for age.
